ABOUT LINDA KLIPPENSTEIN, ARTIST

Linda Klippenstein is a professional artist, with experience in myriad artistic styles and media.  Her works hang in private collections locally and internationally, and she’s been creating and sharing her art for 20 years.

Honesty, good humour, hospitality + an open heart

Linda lives in Abbotsford, British Columbia, about an hour’s drive from Vancouver, but spent her childhood in Steinbach, Manitoba. Her upbringing was happy and uneventful in all the best ways, in a family that valued honesty, generosity, and humour. They still think they are the funniest people around.
These family values shine through Linda’s personality and perspective and have become increasingly important to her. Her large circle of friends rely on and appreciate her ideas, hospitality, and open heart.

Keen artistic energy, creative chaos, connection + community

Linda and husband Dale’s home in Abbotsford is filled with creative chaos, good friends, and great food! There is always room at their table for one more. Dale is a professional photographer, with a keen artistic light that shines as brightly as Linda’s.
Linda believes strongly in contributing to her community and volunteers her time to various local organizations. Linda is on the board of directors for SARA for Women, a support service for at-risk women and children, and has spent years volunteering her time and artistic energy to create art with people from all walks of life. She believes, without reservation, that people connect to each other through the creative process.
When Linda is not painting, you’ll find her riding her bike, or on her feet hiking, walking her dog, and sometimes just swaying to the music.
