“Women Walking Together, Building Connections”1 and 2 celebrated the community made by a diverse group of women residing in Abbotsford- some who are newcomers to Canada, some who have lived in this area for a while, and some who are Canadian born.
Doing the past few months, seventy-five women gathered over a series of sessions at The Reach Gallery in Abbotsford. This was a chance for some women to practice English, and for others, to talk about culture and food. And for some it was a chance to share their stories while helping create the two artworks that tell a story on their own.
The original works are not for sale, but they are available as prints in a number of different sizes. If you’re interested in a print, shoot me an email.
