Do you accept commissions?
Yes! I love creating art made especially for you. Please complete the Commission Request form at the bottom of this page.
Is there a minimum budget for commissions?
Yes, the current minimum is $1,000 for most commissions. Please submit the completed Commission Request form for details regarding commissions and fees.
How do commissions work?
Most commissions begin with a simple description of what you are seeking. You complete the Commission Request form, then we chat back-and-forth by phone, email, text, or if appropriate, in person. We’ll work together to arrive at a general direction, size, budget and time frame.
I’ll then send you a commission summary and deposit request to initiate the commission.
Do commissions require a deposit?
Yes. All commissions require a 25% non-refundable deposit, which ensures your choice of media and time frame are met.
Can I offer feedback during the process?
Absolutely.
In fact, I encourage feedback throughout the process, especially at the beginning. Where and when possible, I’ll bring the commissioned art to your space after the initial design. We can then discuss changes, if needed. I want you to love your art.
What is site-specific artwork?
It’s a piece of art specifically designed for a particular wall or room.
Can I commission a site-specific artwork?
Yes! After the initial consultation, I’ll ask you to send me photos of the location, paint colours, fabric swatches, and anything that will help in choosing a design.
