Wildflowers

The wildflowers of the Fraser Valley feel like small miracles—quiet, resilient bursts of colour that return each season no matter what is happening in the world. I was drawn to paint them because they carry a particular kind of hope: delicate but persistent, bright but unassuming. Wandering through fields and roadsides, noticing these fleeting blooms, reminds me to stay present and to look for beauty in the everyday. This series is my way of honouring that simple abundance—capturing the joy, light, and tenderness of wildflowers, and sharing their uplifting energy with others. In a time when the world feels heavy, these paintings are a gentle reminder that colour still exists, and renewal is always possible.
